As the owner of a Pit Bull mix, I am a pretty picky pet parent. The two most important factors in my search for a place to board Amelia when we travel were 1. Plenty of time outdoors, and 2. No breed restrictions. The approach they take at Romp n Run Ranch was perfect for us. They allow any breed or size of dog to come in for a short trial day, and they decide if the dog has the right temperament (no aggressive behavior, able to calm down during nap times) to get along with the other "ranchers." This really gives me confidence as a pet parent that my dog will get the care and attention she deserves.
My two dogs have only been going there for a couple months, but I know they love it. They are rarin' to go in the morning and happily tired in the afternoon when I pick them up. I am so glad I was able to find and get in here - I love it!
As added bonuses, they post photos of the dogs on their Facebook page from time to time, so you can see how much fun they're all having. Also, the owners live on the property, so there are people on site with the animals 24 hours/day. The miniature horses and pot bellied pig are adorable, too!
I totally trust the staff and Derek at Romp & Run. My dog loves it, and we call it a Camp for dogs.....cannot give them high enough stars 10+
Amelia loves it her. She always gets a huge grin on her face when she recognizes the driveway, and she sometimes seems reluctant to get in the car to come home after a few days at the Ranch. I know that I can relax on my vacation because my girl is having a great time playing with friends and getting individual attention daily.
Been going here since the beginning. Our dog lives it here. She's still excited every day she goes!
