Apart from gas stuff I have done DIY work on almost everything. Home Depot probably has more references but I always go back to Lowes because of the good advices.

I visit this Lowe's at least once a week. I like that they have self checkout. Employees in most departments are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. If you know you'll need help, avoid busy times. It can be hard to get help when they are busy on weekends (like most places).

Absolute worst customer service when it comes to installations. The guys in the flooring department were absolutely amazing to deal with; everyone else, not so much. I paid almost $2000 for carpet installation well over a week ago and have yet to hear back in terms of when they plan on coming out. I was originally told it would be within 2 to 3 days since the carpet was in stock. I've called every day for over a week now and get the runaround in terms of 'let me put you through that this person,' 'let me put you through to another person,' the phone ringing and then going back to customer service and no one calling me back when I do leave a message.

The one area that I have had trouble has been the paint department. The people at this and all other home improvement paint departments are hit and miss. I only go to stores now that specialize in paint. Other than paint, I've been very pleased with all of my experiences at this store.

Great place. Displayed the John Deere mowers here proudly for folks like myself who own acres of land to mow. Large selection. Even have kids projects in a huge section. That's just classy for parents of creative kids.

Good service and prices. Bought several appliances from here online and had them delivered. Great customer service for both of those occasions. Store is pretty well organized with decent selection. Fairly easy in-out for me.

Once you get hold of an assistant, the advises are actually pretty good.

When I finally did get through to someone last week (and it was the appliance department!) they told me nothing was scheduled because I hadn't paid - even though I have a receipt and the money has been charged to my account.
