Staff never say hi. Acting like they don't care. Seating playing games on work computer. Nice to have job like this don't do work and get paid.

The librarians are rude and act like they would rather be left alone to read their books or surf the Web. They never bother to say hi, which I think they could at least do as people enter the building and pass by the front desk. I miss my hometown library in FL- the staff knew regulars by name, they were so helpful and beloved that patrons even sent them Christmas cards. When my daughter and I moved to TX- she was 3 at the time- they gave her a going away gift of a toddler age book. In a small town like Leander, the staff could certainly get out from behind the desk and be friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly and get to know who you are only after a couple of visits, which make it so much easier to visit.

The environment is calling and relaxing. It's super easy to get lost inside your own little world while there. They offer public computers and printing (for a cost on printing).

By far the most rude staff I have ever met at a library. The library itself is ok. Not very large but decent selection. Nice place to go if you or your child doesn't have to interact with the staff here. Don't ask for help, especially with checking out your books. They can't be bothered to help you. Not sure what they do all day just sitting at their computer but it must be really important. My 10 year old son has asked for help finding a book that wasn't on the shelf and they told him to just 'look harder.' I had already helped him and no, it wasn't there. Such a disappointment that this is the one closest to my house but we will go to Cedar Park instead. And I even had to pay for our Cedar Park membership but it will be worth it.

I enjoyed visiting the library, when I was able to.

Everyone is so friendly and are always trying to fulfill the requests of patrons. The summer reading program is really well executed and there are a ton of different events free to the public that are available for almost all ages. Also, once you visit often they start recognizing who you are and are very welcoming which is really nice. Also, the children's department has a wide variety of books in both their non-fiction and picture books. They also offer the option to have books sent from other libraries all over to here for $2.50 if they don't have it in their collection which is a nice feature to have.
