Private, personal setting...
Bagdad cemetery has recently added a new section, It looks like a nice place for ones eternal rest. It is without trees now. Surely as it is filled the mourners will plant some. The cemetery recently put up a wrought iron fence with stone pillars Obviously because people are dying to get in. (sorry)
It has a nice feel, seems a little more personal than the big ones that look a big green football fields lined with headstones. It's also in a good location, not right off a busy major highway or anything. They let you personalize the plots with benches, statues, flowers, etc.. So you are free to decorate your loved ones plots however you see fit, which isn't the same with most cemeteries. My dad is here. I didn't choose the location, but I was pleasantly surprised. We had a graveside burial, this is a nice location to do so. If you are in the unfortunate situation to need a cemetery, this is a good one to consider.
GOD bless ya'll
This cemetery has graves from the 18 hundreds up until current times. I have seen headstones from civil war casualties and a many people from the late 18 hundreds. The old cemetery is mostly full of people who died in the 19 hundreds. To visit the older graves one would go farthest from the intersection of the crossing of the city roads (the back of the old section).
I have too many loved ones resting there, In the fullness of time we will all be together.
